Vineyard: The KIRCHENSTUCK is the most prestigious vineyard in the Pfalz (Palatinate-region) and by this the Romanée-Conti of the Pfalz. The KIRCHENSTUCK vineyard has only 3,67 ha of size. It is the only vineyard in the entire region, which was ranked by the highest ground-ranking (65 points) in 1828 by the government of the Bavarian Kingdom. The slope is situated just on the brim of the village of Forst behind its church! Sandy loam with clay structure. Partly influenced by limestone and the in Forst so typical basalt – of volcanic origin. The KIRCHENSTUCK is partly surrounded by a brick-wall almost like a „clos”.
