The site is famous for its fine and elegant wines with high complexity. The name goes back to the possissions of the former Jesuit monastery of Neustadt. In 1792 the Jordan family bought the vineyard. The parcel, which is located in the original part of the Jesuitengarten, was selectively harvested to obtain only perfectly ripened grapes. Wine:These were gently pressed and vinified separately. 50% of the grapes were vinified in traditional oak the rest in stainless steel tanks. Both parts were left on the lees sfter fermentation until bottling. Finely contoured aromas with herbaceous-ethereal notes in conjuction combined with a certain smokiness meet here in the nose.
