Simply sophisticated. 22ct triple gold plated textured round link chain rope featuring a filigree openwork pendant on an oversized ring bail with delicate chain and rectangular link tassels. Closes with a fold-over clasp. Signed Monet. This highly desirable lariat is part of the Damita Collection from Monet in the 60`s that was in production until the early 80`s. It was one of the most popular ranges in the Monet Collections 22ct triple gold plate, 60 cm and 10 cm pendant ABOUT THE DESIGNER The Monet company, previously known as Monocraft, initially created monogrammed bags before moving into costume jewellery. Their popularity surged following WWII, as their clean and tailored designs appealed to the new female workforce. In the 1980s Monet designed for Yves St Laurent.
