SCOTCH WHISKY - SINGLE MALT Despite its reputation as a somewhat traditional spirit, Scotch whisky offers incredible diversity of flavour, with single malts and blends ranging from elegant, floral expressions to rich, fruity and chocolatey drams. A new 14-year-old single malt whisky from Loch Lomond distillery situated at the north end of Loch Lomond near Tarbet. This unpeated whisky has been distilled in Loch Lomonds unique, tall-neck copper pot stills and matured in refill American and French oak casks for an experience thats intensely fruity and warming. Serving Suggestions: Enjoy neat or with a cube of ice. TASTING NOTES The nose is reminiscent of a French patisserie, with aromas of apple tarts, flaky pastry, fresh cream and poached pears. The whisky bursts to life on the palate, with rich, creamy toffee and vanilla fudge playfully tussling with baked apples, sultanas and warming nutmeg, clove and aniseed spice.
